An engaged and informed community base is very important inadvancing community wellness. Current initiatives under this Program Area includes the Health Disparities Awareness Campaign, which includes the presentation of the powerful series: Unnatural Causes: Is Inequality Making us Sick?

 

The regular "Membership Meetings" (Community Advisory Council) also provide an important venue and forum to share information on critical issues affecting the region.
