Strategic Directions Despite the growth in our region, Latinos continue to suffer some of the worst health outcomes, but the Latino Health Collaborative, based on the strength of its partners, is uniquely positioned to address these health disparities. The Latino Health Collaborative is undertaking several projects to achieve its mission – improve the health of Latinos and address barriers within the private and public system that impact access to health care. We implement projects in 6 core Strategic Directions or Program Areas, which were identified through multiple convenings of over 120 stakeholders representing community leadership, health providers, faith communities, policy makers, and community-based organizations. Our programs have received the support from regional and state partners such as: First 5 San Bernardino, The California Endowment, The California Wellness Foundation, and Kaiser Permanente.
