Goals

Serve as an advocate for Latinos in gaining access to culturally and linguistically competent health care in San Bernardino County, California;

Be a clearinghouse on statistics and research, and to advocate for the collection of data that affects the health status of Latinos and identifies the racial and ethnic background of its residents;

Act as a resource to advise, train and consult with community based organizations, non-profits, and private and public agencies seeking to educate and encourage Latinos to adopt healthy lifestyles and reduce barriers to care; and

Ensure that agencies and services address the needs of the Latino community, children in particular.
